For 1990-2009 cars
- Remove the ten channel plate bolts (8 and 25).
- Remove the channel plate assembly (27). Keep the following components with the channel plate:
- Remove and discard the channel plate to case gasket (28).
Notice: Pry on the channel plate near locating dowel pins (45) to prevent damage to sealing surfaces.
