Makes 🢒 Chevrolet 🢒 2004 🢒 Tahoe - 4WD 🢒 Transmission/Transaxle 🢒 Automatic Transmission - 4 Speed-M41 🢒 Parking Pawl and Manual Shift Linkage Removal
  1. Remove the parking pawl plate bolts.
  2. Remove the parking pawl plate.

    3. Object Number: 153665 Size: SH
  3. Remove the following components from the transmission case:
    4. • The parking pawl torsion spring
    • The pivot pin
    • The parking pawl (2)
  4. Remove the parking pawl rod (1) from the manual shift shaft.

    5. Object Number: 153666 Size: SH
  5. Remove the manual lever hub protection sleeve (1) from the manual detent lever hub (2) using a hammer and a chisel.

    6. Object Number: 153667 Size: SH
  6. Remove the manual detent lever hub roll pin using a standard drift punch and a hammer.
  7. Remove the following components from the transmission case:
    8. • The manual shaft (2)
    • The manual detent lever (1)

  8. Remove the manual shaft oil seals (1) from both sides of the transmission case (2) using a flathead screwdriver.
