Models:2002-2004 Cadillac Escalade
2000-2004 Chevrolet Tahoe

Condition

Some customers may comment on one of the following conditions:

    • The vehicle pulls to the right on hard braking.
    • The vehicle pulls to the left on hard acceleration.
    • The steering wanders on downhill and uphill surfaces.

Diagnostics Checks Performed
  1. Check the brake system.
  2. Check the tire pressure.
  3. Swap the tires from side to side. Perform the Lead/Pull Tire Diagnostic.
  4. Check the alignment.

Cause

If the above checks have been performed and do not correct the condition, the idler arm bracket may be mis-positioned to the frame rail.
